April 14, 2021 - The First Big Conference on Solar Energy in Serbia
The First Big Conference on Solar Energy in Serbia, organized by Balkan Green Energy News, will be held in Belgrade on April 14, 2021. More than 30 leading energy experts and representatives of investors, institutions, the financial sector, and the industry from Serbia and abroad will meet to discuss a topic that is currently in the spotlight – how a new set of energy laws can help increase the use of solar energy in the country and enhance the development of free electricity market.
Within the first panel, Dejan Stojčevski, Technical Director of SEEPEX, will speak.
The panelists of the kick-off panel will address the following topics: a new regulatory framework for investment in large-scale solar power plants, the design of future renewable energy auctions and the development of market-based solar power projects, the significance of establishing intraday trading on the electricity exchange for the development of a market, balancing responsibility for electricity produced from renewable sources, power offtake by the universal supplier, and the sale of green electricity on the market.
